He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and the Colorado Bar Association. He gave the key note address at the Colorado Criminal Bar Association seminar on Domestic Violence. He has served as the chairman of the Domestic Violence committee for the Colorado Bar Associations' Family Law Section.
